Self postcrossing? Simply and smart.  Last weekend we took a trip to the lake. -25c cold sun and there's no wind. Beautiful weather!
Driving through the city Glubokoe (Deep Town). We sent a postcard to themselves. On the postcard shows the post office. In it we sent a postcard.

How to send a post card? Interesting question. It's really simply.

First:

•  You need to buy a beautiful postcard. The one that you like.  No ad card. No free card. Do not be fooled. The other person will like, only that card that you like.

• On the left side write a few words about yourself.  Or about you pets or about something.
• Ibid write you address
• On the right side write address of the recipient. If you don't know whom  send a postcard, you may send postcard to us. We will send you a postcard in reply :) 

 

Third:

• Go to the post. Stick stamps on post card. And put postcard into postbox.

Recently  i receive beautiful postcard from Czech Republic. Reproduction of Alfons Maria Mucha. Otumn. 

Alfons Maria Mucha. postcard

Alphonse Maria Mucha (24 July 1860 - 14 July 1939) was a Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist, most well known for his images of women. He produced many paintings, illustrations, advertisements and designs.

Alphonse Maria Mucha was born in the town of Ivancice, Moravia (today's region of Czech Republic). His singing abilities allowed him to continue his education through high school in the Moravian capital of Brünn (today Brno), even though drawing had been his first love since childhood.

He worked at decorative painting jobs in Moravia, mostly painting theatrical scenery, then in 1879 moved to Vienna to work for a leading Viennese theatrical design company, while informally furthering his artistic education.

In 2010  we celebrate 20 years of Belarus independence. 20 years from born. Also we celebrate  anniversary of Belarussian stamps. Both 20 year.  Оn this occasion, Belpost  released two postcards, with some stamps of previous years.

Vintage Postcard. "Fisherman and goldfish" tale story.

From childhood  i  remember this  rows:

There once lived an old man and his good-wife
On the shore of the deep blue ocean;
They lived in a tumble-down hovel
For thirty-three summers and winters.
The old man used to fish for his living,
And his wife spun yarn on her distaff.
He once cast his net in the ocean,
And pulled it up with mud from the bottom;
He again cast his net in the ocean,
And this time caught nothing but seaweed;
When he cast his net for the third time,
One fish was all that he landed,
No common fish, though, but a goldfish.

This story about fisherman and goldfish. It was written by Alexander Pushkin. The source of inspiration was Grimm's Fairy Tales. Fisherman and goldfish is very, very popular tale in my country.
Every child knows the story from childhood. I'm not a big fan of Pushkin, but his tales are great.

 This postcard printed in 1965 from USSR. For nearly 50 years she was waiting in the wings. And that time has come. Postcard departed to Holland.

Chipmunk from Canada

I found out that this is not just a chipmunk. This is a Tamias minimis chipmunk. He dwells in the coniferous forests of Canada. Apropos. In Europe chipmunk accustomed wild chipmunks, had escaped from their farms for breeding.

Today - ordinary great day to postcrossing. Hm... ordinary great day... I'll remeber that.
I send cards to different parts of the globe. But in then. First i need collect and select the letters and postcards.
So. Pоstcards:

to Holland

to Russia

and to USA. For little pretty girl.

Now i make  kit  named "DIY MaxiCard". Not on purpose. It turned inself :)

After a few hours all letters and cards are almost ready. Left to buy missing stamps...

... and put all cards and envelopes to postbox.
